BIOGRAPHY
Erica Codd began her dance journey with Terrie England at Terrie Ann Productions learning tap, jazz, acro, and Hawaiian dance. Upon Ms. Terrie’s retirement, Erica attended Sudbrook Magnet Middle School where she studied dance, choral singing, and the double bass. During this time she also received Royal Academy of Dance modern and ballet training at Mt. Airy Performing Arts Center, and also pursued studies tap, hip hop, acting, and RMF (rough motor functions).
For high school she attended the Baltimore School for the Arts, to continue in more rigorous technical training. With a heavy focus on technique and equalled emphasis on performance, her teachers, Toni Wilson, Debra Robinson, Norma Pera, Sandy Lacy, Lan Zhang, Samantha Ordaz, and Linda-Denise Fisher-Harrell carved Erica into a proficient dancer.
She has spent the past few summers with Alonzo King Lines Ballet Summer Intensive, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago Summer Intensive, Sidra Bell Dance New York’s Module, and Salt Dance Fest.
Codd will be graduating from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee in May of 2020, during her time at the conservatory she has had the honor to learn from inspiring and knowledgeable teachers such as Danny McCusker, Kurt Douglas, Tai Jimenez, Rachel Miscenich-Catanzariti, Joy Davis, Duane Lee Holland Jr., Brian McGinnis, Danielle Davidson, Olivier Besson, Shannon Lee Jones, Dean Vollick, and Jun Kuribayashi. Codd is excited to see where the whirlwind of the dance world will take her.
BIOGRAFÍA
Erica Codd comenzó su viaje de baile con Terrie England en Terrie Ann Productions aprendiendo tap, jazz, acro y danza hawaiana. Tras la jubilación de la Sra. Terrie, Erica asistió a Sudbrook Magnet Middle School, donde estudió danza, canto coral y contrabajo. Durante este tiempo también recibió la Royal Academy of Dance modern y el entrenamiento de ballet en El Mt. Airy Performing Arts Center, y también realizó estudios de tap, hip hop, actuación y RMF (funciones motoras aproximadas).
Para la escuela secundaria asistió a la Baltimore School for the Arts, para continuar en una formación técnica más rigurosa. Con un fuerte enfoque en la técnica y un énfasis igualado en el rendimiento, sus maestros, Toni Wilson, Debra Robinson, Norma Pera, Sandy Lacy, Lan Zhang, Samantha Ordaz y Linda-Denise Fisher-Harrell esculpieron a Erica en una bailarina competente.

Codd está emocionado de ver a dónde la llevará el torbellino del mundo de la danza.
